Michelle Norman Bryant earned a Masters in Psychology from Argosy University and a PhD from The American School of Professional Psychology. As a clinical psychologist with 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, she takes a holistic approach to therapy that integrates the physical, emotional, social, environmental, spiritual, and intellectual aspects of her clients in order to understand their mental health challenges. She has a passion for working with adults and adolescents with a range of social/emotional, developmental, and behavioral health difficulties, and is committed to creating and maintaining a culture of inclusion that respects and appreciates individuals’ uniqueness. She most recently worked in an anxiety disorder clinic in Seattle, and previously in a variety of other mental health settings. Her office is in the Madison Valley neighborhood of Seattle.

Andy Kessler, LMHCA

Andy Kessler graduated from Antioch University in Ohio, and moved to Seattle with his rock band, The Gits. He later attended Pacifica Graduate Institute in Southern California and earned a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. He has studied Jungian and post-Jungian therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness. He has practiced meditation for 30 years, and brings the principles of mindfulness and meditation to his practice.

Soren Kounts, LCSWA

Soren Kounts grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and earned an MSW from the University of Washington. He spent several years working with teenagers before going into private practice and now works mostly with adults (although he does still see some adolescents.) His approach to therapy is to begin with the issues, concerns and feelings that have motivated the client to seek help and to move forward from there. His interest is in allowing the client to move through therapy at a comfortable pace, and when it is helpful, to provide reflections, feedback and coping techniques along the way. Marc Turkel has lived in the Pacific Northwest for 30 years, having moved here from Miami, and is originally from New York City. He received a BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology, worked as a professional photographer, and led self-actualization seminars before earning a Masters in Existential Psychology from Seattle University. He is interested in the ways in which people construct meaning, how that relates to their particular struggles, and how he and the client can work with those meanings to explore new paths forward in their lives. Gabrielle Miller, LSWAIC

Gabrielle earned her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from Boston University, traveled extensively as a professional harpist, and eventually earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington. She enjoys counseling adults at every stage of life, and her specialty is counseling adults who are neurodivergent, their families and caregivers.

Simon Connor, MSW, LICSW

Simon Connor was born in England, and grew up between England and Connecticut. He moved to Seattle to work for the VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) program, and eventually attended the UW School of Social Work, earning an MSW in 1998. He worked as a school based therapist in the Seattle, Bellevue and Mercer Island School systems, and was the director of the Crest Alternative High School on Mercer Island. He entered private practice in 2006 and has worked with adolescents and adults since then. He has studied Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Buddhism, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy as well as a number of other approaches. He is an avid musician, and enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with family and friends. His office is located in the Madison Valley neighborhood of Seattle.
